Holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC), an MBA in Agribusiness, and a Master's and PhD in Sciences (Animal Science and Pastures) from the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" at the Universidade de São Paulo (ESALQ/USP). Additionally, he completed a specialization in "Modern Education" at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-RS). Professionally, he worked in the Technical Department of the Indústria Agropecuária Santa Cruz (INACRUZ) in Bolivia, where he developed a commercial feed program for piglets and provided technical support in swine and poultry production. Later, he served as a Technical Nutrition Consultant at Cargill Alimentos/Nutron, specializing in formulating diets and feeding programs for pigs and developing nutritional solutions for swine production. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT), at the Sinop Campus, where he has been serving as the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Animal Science since January 2022.
