PhD in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (USP). He obtained both his Masters degree (2013) and Bachelors degree (2010) in Philosophy from the same university. He served as a visiting researcher at Columbia University (2016) and at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University (2018). Between 2018 and 2020, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Philosophy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He worked as a researcher at the Center for Artificial Intelligence (C4AI)a partnership among IBM, Fapesp, and USPuntil 2024. He is currently a professor in the field of Artificial Intelligence at Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia. He has published works in leading philosophy journals (Philosophy Technology, Manuscrito, Principia, Kriterion) and at major AI conferences (CIKM, IJCAI, NeurIPS).
