I was born in Fortaleza (CE)- Brazil. I did graduate in social sciences at the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) and then, in Campinas (SP), MA in sociology and doctorate in social sciences at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). I am associate professor of sociology of work, research from CNPq / Brazil, coordinator of RET (Rede de Estudos do Trabalho), a network of Labour Studies - www.estudosdotrabalho.org and Projeto Tela Crítica (the Critical Screen Project) - www.telacritica.org.
