Specialist in the interface between science and society, with an emphasis on science communication and the role of knowledge brokers in supporting qualified decision-making. Holds a degree in Biological Sciences (Unicamp, 1999), a Masters (2004) and a PhD (2011) in Science and Technology Policy (Unicamp), as well as a specialization in Science Journalism (Unicamp, 2018). Coordinated the development of policy briefs and decision-makers summaries within the Brazilian Synthesis Center on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (SinBiose/CNPq), the Brazilian Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BPBES), and the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO). Served as a collaborating professor at the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism (Labjor/Unicamp), where she supervised students under the Mídia Ciência Program (FAPESP). Coordinated science communication at the Genomics for Climate Change Research Center (GCCRC) and at the Center for Medicinal Chemistry (CQMED), both at Unicamp. Member of the Brazilian Network of Science Journalists and Communicators (Rede ComCiência), and collaborator in initiatives such as the Biota/Fapesp Program, the Aquaculture Center of Unesp, and the Semear Digital project (Embrapa/FAPESP). Worked as a consultant for the IDB and IEMA in the design of biodiversity research programs, and was part of the facilitators group of ONet (IPBES).
