Paula research interest is on the aspects that circumscribe the science-society interface. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism (Labjor/Unicamp), she investigates how scientific knowledge supports decision making and the role of knowledge brokers. She is biologist and holds a PhD and a Masters in Science and Technology Policy, both from the University of Campinas (Brazil).
