Abstract

It is known that air pollution is responsible for causing numerous respiratory problems in the population, and in critical situations can even lead people to death. Because of this, a study was started here to analyze the amount of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2), which cars that run daily on a highway near the city of Lorena-SP-Brazil scatter through the air. From a study carried out using the software COMSOL Multiphysics (R) three different situations (geometries) will be simulated numerically and a discussion will be presented. (C) 2018 The Authors.
