Abstract

In this research, a state feedback design for a class of continuous-time nonlinear systems under persistent bounded disturbance is designed considering a L-1 performance index. The state feedback design is based on a switched fuzzy PDC controller. The conservativeness of the sufficient conditions given in terms of LMIs is decreased by the use of a switched Lyapunov-like function and an alternative description for the time derivative of membership functions. Numerical examples illustrate the efficiency of the proposed state feedback design. (AU)
