Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the digital educational technology (EdTechs) industry in France from 2002 to 2022. We analyze documents from specialized consulting firms, investment funds, and the Ministry of Education. Subsequently, we focus on the investment fund Educapital to illustrate three major trends: high market concentration, the leading role of financial capital in directing the EdTech industry, and the relevance of public fund transfers in this dynamic.
