Abstract

Development Plan intends to technological innovation through the physical adaptation of its structure and the acquisition of equipment in order to promote innovation and technological development, using the organizational structure approved in 2001. Thus, the technical units will begin to incorporate new functionalities for technical - sacrifice development and it will compose the Technological Research and Development Centers - Cepetec: 1- Geoprocessing and Statistics Center, in the Departments of miology and Technical Guidance; 2 - Center for Surveillance and Control, in the Department of Counseling to Municipalities, composed of four advanced Technological Nucleus and the 3 - Laboratory Department with its Specialty Nucleus. In order to promote the dissemination of this knowledge, intellectual protection and the establishment of partnerships with other public and private institutions will be developed by the Nucleus of Technological innovation - NIT. The plan will meet the four dimensions proposed in the call for proposals. With the creation of Cepetec and its nuclei, the modernization of the equipment park and the physical structure will provide an adequate environment for the expansion of the capacity to create new Research &Technology knowledge in the defined strategic areas. The establishment of partnerships with other centers of excellence in national and international scientific events, interviewed through specific courses and collaborative projects, will increase both public-private partnerships and the ability to access, understand and use scientific and technological knowledge existing in the world. Finally, the investment in the proposed studies and tines of research to be developed will increase institutional capacity in innovation and technological development, aiming to generate knowledge that reflects in a better quality of life for the population and the introduction of new products that contribute to the improvement prevention and control of vector-borne diseases.
