Abstract

The School of Medical Sciences (FCM) - University of Campinas (FCM-Unicamp) unit of teaching and research of Unicamp constituted by the undergraduate courses in medicine and Speech-Language Pathology, Medical Residency and Postgraduate Programs. In 2017, there were 111 doctoral and 181 master's degree defenses. There are 100 laboratories in which clinical and experimental research protocols are developed. As a result 877 scientific papers have been published in refereed specialized journals.With this production, FCM-UNICAMP is among the most productive Faculties of Medical Sciences in the country. A significant part of this production comes from experimental studies.The resources from the Institutional Technical Reserve for Research Infrastructure Cost (RTI) portion will be applied, mainly, in actions to improve and adapt the physical infrastructure of the FCM research laboratories and research laboratories.
