Abstract
After a brief summary of major academic accomplishments and scientific indicators in the past ten years, this research proposal for the coming two years is divided into three major fields which are discussed in detail in accompanying subsections: The QCD Gap and Bound-State Equations Beyond Leading Order, Charm Physics at LHCb and FAIR and Quark-Gluon Tomography at a Future Electron-Ion Collider. The common thread that relates these themes revolves around nonperturbative approaches in Quantum Chromodynamics. (AU)
