Abstract

The digital revolution brought us a progressive interest for smart cities, Internet of Things, Big Data and AI. Within this scenario, the Seven Always Company (Seven) introduces a modular platform, composed of hardware and software capable to deal with intelligent and multitasking systems. Among the features available in the platform, it aims to provide the community the possibilities of developing new solutions for mobility, based on image processing technics, pattern recognition and AI, etc., which will transform a common car into a smart and connected one. Experts point out that the connectivity will have the biggest and more disruptive effects on cars than any other automotive technology before. This, in turn, could bring real alternatives of data monetization, whose estimated value exceed more than US$1 trillion in the next 10 years. Then, it aims is to create an ecosystem around a more efficient mobility, that will increase in value though a "data-benefits" virtuous cycle in the future, as more data collected will be converted into benefits to users, with services such as vehicle tracking (supply chain), services in property security, economic driving mode, virtual mechanic and preventive diagnose, new modalities of insurance, tolls fees per-mile, behavior-based insurance costs, time and location-based parking fees, WiFi Hubspot, vehicle WiFi sharing, among others. With this platform, Seven intents to be a supplier of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to providers of Mobility as a Service (MaaS), whose innovative product still does not exist in Brazil and maybe in the world. Currently, more than 90 million of vehicles circulate in Brazil, half of them in the southeast area where São Paulo, the fifth biggest metropolitan city of the world, is located. The problems with urban mobility result in significant economic losses, including cargo transport, due to the centralization of information (under the domain of few companies and not under its true owners), the impossibility to new mobility providers (MP) entrance to the market in equal conditions, and so on. The IaaS offered by Seven aims to revolutionize the MaaS ecosystem. This happens because it encompasses studies and evaluations of technologies that are able to manage data as the core business, in order to keep the laws and pre-established rules of ownership protection, meeting the requirements of transparency, privacy and security. To guarantee the interoperability with the major gateways of the market, Seven intents to act as a neutral platform in its go-to-market strategy, offering the solution as a white label product. In the current proposal for FAPESP intended to participate in the PIPE selection process, Fase 1, Seven will develop some of its key-components solutions for its system architecture, as seen below: 1) To validate the data acquisition system though the OBDII in a secure and reliable way, encompassing a wide range of vehicle from the current fleet. 2) To validate a GNSS location system + Dead Reckoning in urban areas, especially in the city of São Paulo and State roads. 3) To create an authentication algorithm (bio-sign) of the vehicle (level 1) and the user (level 2) based on AI and data gathered from (1) and (2). 4) From the data collected and analyzed in (1), (2) and (3) it aims to: (i) To create a common access protocol (hardware and software); (ii) to extract the metadata from the data mining process; (iii) to make several studies and (iv) to build initial tests in data/information storage in Blockchain technology or similar; (v) to make available consolidated information to users/systems, in order to validate the Minimum Value Product (MVP).
