Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the potentialities and limitations of the e-SUS AB System as a technological innovation for the organization of the work process and management of care of the Primary Health Care team. It is an evaluative research with a sequential mixed approach carried out in municipalities of the Regional Health Department XIII. Participants will be professionals of the health teams of the APS units with information system e-SUS AB implanted for at least six months. The units with their own information system will be excluded. The number of participants will be defined after the entry into the field, an estimated 200 professionals. The study will be developed in three stages, namely: Step 1 - Observation and analysis of the determining factors for adoption of technological innovation. In the first phase, a pilot study will be carried out to verify the need for adjustments in the validated instrument, later a field study will be carried out aiming to classify the organizational modalities of the health units, observation for identification and analysis of registry and flow of data and factors which interfere in the use of the e-SUS AB system, as well as characterization of the subjects and verification of the determinants of the adoption of technological innovation"e-SUS AB" perceived by the health team through a questionnaire. Step 2 - Analysis of the perception of the potentialities and limitations of the use of technological innovation and SUS-AB AB through a focus group. Step 3 - It will count on training of multipliers, professionals of the health team. The quantitative and qualitative data will be analyzed separately and will be followed for interpretative analysis comparing and relating all the sources of data to verify convergent and divergent themes.
