Abstract

A mathematical model will be set up to describe the temporal evolution of dengue virus and human immune system during a second infection. The hypothesis is that specific and non-especific immunological cells compete by virus neutralization. The goal is to analyse two situation: when the infection is controlled by the immune system; and when the infection is enhanced by the immune cells generated after a primary response with a different virus.
