Abstract

The project provides for the evaluation of the impact of the Yellow Fever virus on howler populations in two conservation units in the state of São Paulo. Thus, density assessment methods will be performed in different areas to evaluate the remaining populations. Blood samples from animals will be collected, as will mosquitoes from the areas. The serum of the primates will be submitted to serological tests to detect previous contact with Yellow Fever virus to construct a mathematical model to predict the enzootic circulation of the disease.
