Abstract
The proposed research project aims to develop a new architecture for an intelligent transport system, in which it is able to provide a set of services capable of managing various technologies in order to assist in the transport system of a city allowing not only abstraction information regarding streets and highways, but also to enable the optimization of the flow of roads in a city. Thus, the project aims to capture vehicular as well as pedestrian information through mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets, increasing the capacity to exchange important information for managing a city's traffic. The project corresponds to the continuation of the research carried out with FAPESP, Regular mode number of process 15/11536-4, in which it aimed at the development of a framework aimed at vehicular networks to assist in the management of large cities. During this period, both the communication part between vehicles and a roadside infrastructure was investigated, as well as vehicle cloud resource management mechanisms as well as the emergence of new services for vehicle networks with the objective of assisting in the management of a city parking lot. , among other developed techniques and protocols. The research for this project is of a much larger scope, which aims to design solutions to various problems, such as: traffic, surveillance, etc. Scientific and technical innovations in this project aim to allow the improvement of services provided to citizens. For this purpose, this project has the collaboration of the Municipal Traffic and Urban Transport Secretariat as well as the support of some companies in the city. (AU)
