Abstract

In undergraduate teaching in health and nursing, the evaluation processes need to be strengthened, in addition, the search for evaluation strategies that go beyond the scope of the courses and allow interinstitutional analysis of the training promoted indifferent educational institutions is justified.Based on previous experience of nursingcourses at EERP-USP and from a group of medical courses, it was organized a group of managers and teachers of undergraduate nursing courses to create aconsortium, to applying tests with objective questions, in the format of progress testfrom 2019. Thus, this proposal articulates existing actions and new strategies of intraand interinstitutional collaboration to improve the evaluation processes, identify weaknesses, qualify and strengthen nursing education at USP and other publiceducational institutions in the state of São Paulo, highlighting that the initiative willinvolve around 1,500 nursing students and will have the support of the FMRP group, which has 10 years of experience with the tool for medical courses in Brazil, whichwill allow an interprofessional benchmarking in training. The main focus of thisproposal is to promote and maintain synergy and interinstitutional cooperation toqualify the training of human resources in health and nursing. The main objectives are to foster interdisciplinarity, train teachers in the development of high-qualitycognitive assessment tests, identify strengths and weaknesses in the curricular structure of nursing courses and strengthen undergraduate nursing education. It isunderstood that the initiative will make a relevant contribution to the management ofthe courses, constituting a pioneering experience for the teaching of Nursing in Brazil, allowing the exchange of experiences, continuous assessment and the opportunity for self-assessment for the students involved.
