Abstract

A challenging perspective is apparent in the area of nursing education since the advancement of information technology and communication in academic areas, prompting educators to understand, analyze and transform, these new technologies in an educational tool to articulate the political, economic, social and culture in which teaching takes place, as well as meet the demands of a clientele university considered a digital generation. In this context, the Bachelor of Nursing College of Nursing of USP - EEUSP search form teachers critical, ethical and committed to a proposal for training of human resources in nursing to meet the demands of the working world. Thus one of the motivations for choosing this theme was to believe that education mediated by technology, especially the use of virtual learning environments, leads the student to construct their own knowledge of the teacher-mediated interventions. Objectives: To determine the profile of students in Bachelor of Nursing; identify the digital fluency of students in Bachelor of Nursing; describe the knowledge, skill and interest in using virtual learning environments for students of Nursing Degree; evaluate the learning of nursing undergraduates in the virtual learning environment, analyze the reports of experiences of nursing undergraduates in the virtual learning environment. Methodology: This is an exploratory and descriptive, with quantitative approach. The research will be held at the USP School of Nursing, with students enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing and the disciplines that comprise it. The project will take place in two phases: Phase 1 - Characterization of the profile of students in Bachelor of Nursing, identification of their digital fluency and knowledge, ability and interest in using virtual learning environments. Data collection through the application of a questionnaire containing 31 open and closed questions, divided into three parts: Part I - The profile of the students of Bachelor of Nursing; Part II - identification of digital fluency of students and Part III - identification of knowledge, ability and interest in using virtual learning environments for students. Stage 2 - Assessment of learning nursing undergraduates in the virtual learning environment and analysis of reports of their experiences. In phase 2 data collection will occur after the close of the disciplines "Teaching Methodology of Nursing I" and "Teaching Methodology of Nursing II" and the subjects are students who have attended these courses and will be conducted through the use of jobs posted by these students in the Moodle platform. Each employee will receive two copies of that term and will be after his signature on a copy, the other will be in possession of researcher. It is noteworthy that the participants will be guaranteed the confidentiality of information, the voluntary participation and the possibility to stop such participation at any time it deems appropriate without any types of damages. After these procedures, will begin collecting data. The research project will be submitted to the School Board, the Committee of Education and Research and the Research Ethics Committee of the Nursing School of USP in each of its steps. After its approval, the researchers begin to collect data. Data will be entered into a spreadsheet (Excel ®) and then statistically analyzed quantitatively in absolute numbers and percentages presented in the form of graphs and tables. There will be an analysis of variables from the data categorization. The open questions are grouped into categories and analyzed. (AU)
