Curricular integration in nature sciences: mapping challenges and potentialities

Abstract

The present project, articulated with the Thematic (2022/06977-5) aims to assess the limits and potentialities of curriculum integration in the teaching of natural sciences, by mapping the challenges and solutions involving this integration proposed in the BNCC, reported by teachers of basic education and in the process of construction of the new Interdisciplinary Science Degree (USP). It is expected to contribute in the research scope, with a deepening of both theoretical and practical issues involving the current debate on curriculum integration in the teaching of natural sciences and collaborate in the improvement of public policies, especially in initial teacher training, and in the development of a more critical and reflective science education, capable of forming more aware and prepared citizens to face the challenges of the contemporary world (AU)
