EMU-Multi-user equipment: Acquisition of low vibration cryostat with low magnetic fields (up to 0.7T) and high resolution spectrometer for micro-photoluminescence, micro-Raman, micro-reflectance and micro-magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE)

Abstract

Here, we propose a new multi-user facility which includes two main equipments: (i) a low vibration free helium cryostat with a fully integrated 3-axis cryogenic nanopositioner, microscope objective integrated into the sample space and with a magnet module coupled with the cryogenic sample chamber (ii) a spectrometer with high spectral resolution. These multi-user equipments will be used in a flexible optical setup for measurements of micro-photoluminescence, micro-reflectance contrast, micro-Raman and micro-Kerr Magneto Optical Effect (MOKE). These multi-users equipments will benefit several researchers with projects in optoeletronics, spintronics and quantum technology. (AU)
