Abstract

The project aims to establish the Applied Research Center for Water Sustainability and Environmental Resource Management (CEHIGERA), based at the University of São Paulo (USP), Pirassununga Campus, and the Pirassununga Water and Sewage Service (SAEP). CEHIGERA will focus on developing technological solutions and innovative strategies for the sustainable management of water and environmental resources, directly impacting the region's quality of life and economic sustainability.The Center will be funded by FAPESP and will involve collaborations between academia, the public and private sectors, while also striving for financial self-sustainability through service provision, courses, and specialized consulting (AU)
