Abstract

The technology of pesticide application intends to produce uniform placement on target, with minimal losses through runoff and drift. This study is aiming to evaluate the efficiency of control of Asian soybean rust, depending on of use of small volumes application associated with two types of nozzles. Will be conducted two experiments with the soybean crop at 2010/11 and 2011/12 in on experimental area of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio Mesquita Filho". Both experiments will be designed in randomized blocks, following a factorial scheme with two factors (three volumes of application and two types of nozzles) and an additional treatment (untreated control) in four replications. Treatments will be the result of a combination of hydraulic spraying nozzles associated with volumes of 50, 100 and 150 L/ha and flow rates associated with rotary nozzles with volumes of 17, 35 and 50 L/ha, obtained by changing the dosing flow. The evaluations will be performed by deposition and coverage of spray applied over the leaves in the three thirds of the canopy of the crop profile (upper, middle and bottom) and control of Asian rust by grades of severity and final yield. Will also be evaluated qualitative aspects of the soybeans harvested as weight of 1000 grain and classification of grain size on screens of different diameters. The data will be submitted to the F test and the averages of the plots were compared by Tukey test at 5% significance level. For evaluation of the coverage will not be considered a check plot, since there will be samples of water sensitive paper these plots (plots not treated). (AU)
