Abstract
The evaluation of optimal levels of valine will be analyzed in three phases. To determine the requirements and efficiency of utilization of valine tests will be conducted with broiler chickens of Cobb in the starting phase (1-21 days), growth (21-35 days) and finishing (35-42 days), with experiments carried out separately At each stage, based on the dose-response method. The birds receive rations formulated to meet nutritional requirements according to the recommendations of Rostagno et al. (2005). The handling of the birds will follow the recommendations of the strain. In each test will be used 504 male broilers were distributed in a completely randomized design with 6 treatments that will be the levels of valine, with seven replicates and each experimental unit consisted of 12 birds. Basal diets will be formulated using the dilution technique, deficient in valine, containing levels of energy, minerals and vitamins and protein as recommended by Rostagno et al. (2005), for each phase. The levels of amino acids in the diets, except valine, will be established based on the ideal ratio proposed by Rostagno et al. (2005), taking as reference the lysine levels established for each phase. (AU)
