Abstract
This research project proposes a framework development for modeling, simulation and synthesis of embedded systems for mobile robots. This framework will allow systems composed by hardware and software modules to be modeled in a graphical environment based on MARTE profile. Given a model, the user will be able to simulate the whole model integrated with real or simulated mobile robots and also to generate hardware components from Bluespec language. The framework will allow the user to profile the software and to synthesize the hardware components to FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate array). Therefore, this work aims to accelerate the hardware and software architecture co-design via meta-modeling and ESL (Electronic System Level) development and to help the research and teaching process about embedded systems and mobile robotics.
