Abstract
One of the major concerns in livestock production is the environmental control from de ventilation systems to renew the air inside the housings and remain the air quality and thermal comfort. In animal transport the ventilation system must control the environment to garantee the poultry and swine meat quality on slaughter. Nes tolls as geaostatistics and CFD modeling are helping on simulation and decision making to control the environment for raising animals. The objective of this project is study the effect of dry bulb temperature, air velocity in housing and structures for transport of broilers and swine to simulate an ideal model of ventilation, taking in account the air inlets, exhaust fans, the model of the structure, using geostatistcs and CFD modeling.
