Abstract

The organizational culture has interfaces with the external culture where a company is located. The values designed by a country or a region interfere decisively in the development policies of human resources of the enterprises and consequently in the rate of productivity. This research project aims to prove this through a multidisciplinary literature on private corporations and brasilian capital belonging to the manufacturing sector that in the last decade have installed production units in South American countries. Also intend to conduct an empirical study in the Brazilian companies located in Bolivia. The choice of the country is related to the assumptions of leadership in the integration and development assigned to Brazil, and relate a neighboring country with few empirical studies related to the proposed theme and that can support strategic plans for internationalization of Brazilian companies there installed. From the results of the research study will be developed instruments of analisys that allows the decoding of the local culture and generation of instruments that contribute to the policies of human resource development of Brazilian companies located in Bolivia. The literature allows us to establish of preliminary mode, hypothesis relevant variables that may affect the local culture in the processes of planning and development of human resources and, consequently, the internal culture of the organization. Therefore, the results of the survey can determine with greater specificity the role of organizational culture in the expansion of Brazilian companies. (AU)
