Investigation of growth mechanisms and properties of photoluminescent Ag2WO4

Abstract

This project proposes to investigate the mechanisms of growth and photoluminescent properties of nanocrystals of silver tungstate (Ag2WO4) synthesized by hydrothermal microwave, on the participation of PhD students and postdoc. On this occasion, Prof.. Andre Perrin participate actively in the discussions of the mechanisms of photoluminescence and begin making an international article. The synthesis of nanocrystals Ag2WO4 be performed from dilute aqueous solutions of salts of departure. The mechanisms of growth of these crystals in suspension and processed in the system hydrothermal microwave will be investigated in more detail. The nanocrystals obtained are characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman and infrared vibrational. The optical properties of these nanocrystals are investigated by electronic spectroscopy in the ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) and photoluminescence measurements. (AU)
