Abstract

The increasing integration of science and technology (S & T), in many different time-spaces of contemporary life, has gained in intensity and centrality on the discussions about culture and public. Since in many fields, dissemination and research, scientific and technological production have being crossed, in various ways, by questions concerning the place of culture and the public role. We believe that science communication and dissemination are assigned to provide de access and create a scientific and effective public engagement. However, the settings that the culture and the public assume indicate potential, limitations and problems that need to be further explored and deepened. (AU)
