Abstract
It is intended to applied the theory of interacting particle systems and percolation to understand and model the spread of information phenomena in a population. The main purpose of the project is to introduce spatial versions of stochastic models reported in the literature recently to describe rumour transmission in a totally mixed population. The research activities will concentrate on studying the behavior of these and similar processes in different types of graphs. (AU)
