Abstract

The stay of Prof. Ander Eriksson for six weeks aims at collaborating in a project on the robustness of the acoustic correlates of lexical stress in Brazilian Portuguese spontaneous speech as well as in preparing a protocol for studying the perception of lexical stress and its correlation with production data. Furthermore, his stay aims at promoting the experimental study of speech perception by offering three tutorials and participating as a keynote speaker in a workshop on speech perception in São Paulo to discuss ideas and establish connections with other researchers in the State of São Paulo and beyond.
