Abstract

Previous studies suggest that trans fatty acids maternal intake promotes increased adiposity and proinflammatory state in the offspring. Accordingly, the use of foods rich in anthocyanins (AN) a potent antioxidant, has been investigated focusing on the modulation of inflammation. Among the foods high in AN, is cited Juçara palm of fruit( Euterpe edulis Mart.), Typical of the Atlantic Forest. However, there are few studies that investigate the AN action on metabolic programming and offspring pro-inflammatory state. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of supplementation of the extract of the Juçara palm of fruit (EJ) during pregnancy and lactation on inflammatory markers and uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1)of offspring at 21 days. The groups are composed of male Wistar rats: C21 Group - Offspring of mothers who receive control diet containing soybean oil. CJ21 Group - Offspring of mothers who receive control diet with supplementation of EJ. Group T21 - Offspring of mothers who receive diet containing hydrogenated vegetable fat (GVH). TJ21 Group - Offspring of mothers who receive diet containing GVH and EJ . Serum concentrations of LPS, TG, TC, HDL, glucose, adiponectin and insulin will be evaluated; gene and protein expression of IL 6, IL-10, TNF - ±, TNFRI, IL - 6R, AdipoR1, and TLR4 in retroperitoneal adipose tissue (RET) and colon; gene expression Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes bacteria in the colon; protein expression of MyD88 and TRAF6 in RET and colon and uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1) in brown adipose tissue (AU)
