Abstract

This is a research project on network that focuses discuss public policy and terms of accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities and/or reduced mobility in higher education and the impact of these policies on teacher education and the production of instrumental media - the latter to serve in TV, Web TV and broadcasting related to the Brazilian Association of Public, Educational and Cultural broadcasters (ABEPEC) and the Association of Public Radio of Brazil (ARPUB) channels. The project involves the participation of three public universities: Universidade Estadual Paulista (FFC/Marília - SP), on condition that tenderer and thirst, in collaboration with the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (Juiz de Fora - MG), the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianópolis - PR) and constituted as Centers of research development. It also features the collaboration of researchers affiliated with different programs Graduate in Education, Psychology, Linguistics and Communication university: State University of Maringa - (Maringá - PR), State University of Londrina - (Londrina - PR) University of São Paulo (Ribeirão Preto) and Federal University of São Carlos (São Carlos - SP), among others. Activities include the development of 32 subprojects research into the undergraduate and graduate levels, involving the participation of different professionals/ scholars: public school teachers (10) undergraduate research (24), Masters (9) and PhD (2). Its development provides three methodological steps: analysis of public policies on access for persons with disabilities in higher education; analysis of the conditions of accessibility; and development of media products for placement on radio and TV channels. So make higher education equally accessible to all who wish to pursuing it has been one of the main goals of the professionals who research and legislate on the basic right of access to education. Thus analyze how public policies, programs, teacher training and communication media conceive and discusses the removal of accessibility barriers for the public referred to the University, has become the main locus of this research study developed with the support of the Training Centre, extension and Research on Inclusion - CEFEPI, the FFC-Unesp/Marília .
