Abstract

The Atmospheric Sciences Department has many research projects in the area of climate-atmospheric chemistry, including thematic projects with funding from FAPESP. The Project NUANCE has the objective of studying the impact of global climate change on urban air quality. The visit of prof. Brasseur will be very valuable as he has a large expertise on modelling of the atmospheric process. He will also interect with the INCLINE (Nucleo de Mudanças Climáticas da Universidade de São Paulo) group helping in the consolidation as an international research group. He is an outstanding researcher that will bring all his experience to our University and other groups. (AU)
