Abstract

Obesity is a condition characterized by excess adipose tissue that results from genetic components and environmental factors such as physical inactivity and inadequate nutrition. Currently this disease is considered the main factor related to the metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease and chronic degenerative diseases associated. Diabetes mellitus type 2 can be a disorder associated with obesity being defined as metabolic disorders that resulting in hyperglycemia due to a change in insulin action, mainly in the secretion of these or both. Recent findings relate to the development of these diseases with increased pro-inflammatory markers such as TNF-±. However, in practice regular exercise appears to increase the levels of anti-inflammatory markers such as IL -6, IL-8 and IL-10 in addition to lower concentrations of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The Vaspin and Omentin are adipokines that are also related to obesity and its comorbidities. These adipokines are associated with changes in insulin concentration. These are associated with changes in insulin concentration may have autocrine and paracrine effect of altering the metabolism of glucose. The present study aims to determine the effects of three different types of exercise (aerobic, strength and combined) on the production of adipokines and Omentina Vaspina and inflammatory mediators such as cytokines, as well as explore the possible role of these in the AKT and AMPK activity in animal with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
