Abstract

This current proposal seeks funds from FINEP for the installation of air conditioning system in the laboratory building that is being finalized and it was built from the approval of another proposal sent to FINEP in the year 2007. The UNIPEX is an infrastructure which will house laboratories multiuser from FMB/UNESP, for conducting experimental studies and preclinical studies. The air conditioning is very relevant, since the research environments require air conditioning and temperature control for the operation of research equipment. On de other hand, we are requesting from FAPESP of the consideration for the acquisition of multiusers equipment. These equipment's will be applied as needed infrastructure for group of researchers who must join the site, such as washers and sterilizers systems. It should be noted that the assembly of this research environment is very important for the FMB / UNESP. Emphasis should be made to the fact that the FMB is located in the center-west of the state of São Paulo, strategic geographical point for interaction with other institutions, especially those in the state. An example of exchange is desired connection and strong participation of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara/ UNESP. It is proposed that is extremely important to the quality of the research carried out by providing suitable environment for the conduct of studies, in particular those related to experimental research, involving the development of active, studies of biomaterials, evaluation procedures experimental surgery, basic studies on diseases potentially causing disability or death, such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. Therefore, it is intended, with the support of FAPESP, purchasing large equipment and infrastructure that are useful as laboratories for all types of research and providing support for all users.
