Abstract

This research project seeks to expand the knowledge about the large-scale assessments proposed by municipal administrations, investigating its attributes as well as its implications in educational management. Through the identification of evaluation initiatives in municipalities, and also the understanding of federal and state assessment results uses by the municipalities, we seek to investigate the evaluation designs that are being proposed by the municipal administrations and their possible implications for the management of education, the work teachers, the proposed curriculum and the teaching practices.
