Abstract

The proposal aims the elucidation of the identity of the invader species of Neotropical land planarian right now spreading across Europe. The principal activity will be the PI and the visitor together, to undertake studies on land planarian material to discuss and try to agree on the interpretation of taxonomic characters used to distinguish the nominal species. Traditional morphological characters do now allow delimitation of three nominal species. (AU)
