Abstract

The objective of this requirement of financial support for Visiting Research Program is to improve the collaboration between Jan C. Fransoo from Technologic University Eindhoven (Tue/Holand) and Brazilian researchers, particularly those of Operations and Logistics Management Group led by José Geraldo Vidal Vieira (UFSCar/CCGT) and CISLog group led by Hugo Yoshizaki(Poli/USP). The collaboration aims basically to provide some agreements among universities and discussions of projects such as: discussion of the current research and papers; seminar programme about urban logistics and discussion about future projects; meetings with research groups and strengthen the relationship through the current agreement; work group in order to present the dissertations, projects and thesis that are still going on.Those collaborative initiatives focusing on development of research regarding urban logistics in medium and large cities of São Paulo State.
