Abstract

The Institutional application of research resources was approved at the 71st. regular meeting of the Center of Biological and Health Council (CoC/CCBS) held on 09.15.2015. After extensive discussion, the CoC/CCBS approved the proposed plan and for its application to FAPESP. The coordination and management of this Allocation Plan was awarded to Professor Anielle Cristhine de Medeiros Takahashi, PhD, from the Department of Physical Therapy. Considering the particulars that make up the academic structure, research and assistance of the areas involved in this plan (Biological and Health), as in previous years, the allocation plan has been designed to meet the research needs and particularities by area and sub-areas of the involved departments. It is important to highlight that part of resources (10%) was allocated under management of the CCBS, in order to meet the demands of units not covered by these resources as well as the common demand to support research. The total amount of funds from FAPESP (R $ 352,051.00) was generated by 20 research projects. The CoC/CCBS considered that the FAPESP institutional resources should be primarily invested in the improvement and development of the structural conditions and logistics for scientific research, respecting diversity and departmental specificity.
