Genome sequence of Micromonospora sp. NBS 11-29, an antibiotic and hydrolytic enzymes producer isolated from sediment river in Brazil.

Abstract

Micromonospora genus includes actinomycetes with high biotechnological potential, due the ability to produce secondary metabolites and enzymes. In this study, we report the draft genome sequence (Illumina Hiseq2000) of Micromonospora NBS 11-29, which showed antibacterial, cellulolytic and xylanolytic activities under in vitro conditions.
