The objective of this research project is the solution of discrete decision problems with the application of multi-criteria decision methods. Real problems of supply chain management and higher education management will be researched. A mixed methodological approach should be conducted, by combining case studies with mathematical modeling. It is expected to identify situations in which the application of a multi-criteria decision method or technique is advantageous for solving discrete problems. (AU)
