Abstract

There are several mult-criteria techniques for the evaluation and selection of suppliers, but the techniques based on fuzzy logic has been the most used due to its ability to model the uncertainties of assessments of decision makers. However, although applied for group decision-making, few are actually suitable for the decision group make. This master project aims to study and compare techniques based on fuzzy theory for group decision-making and applied to the selection and evaluation of suppliers. The proposal limits the study to hesitant fuzzy techniques, intuitionistic fuzzy and its variations. It is part of a larger project submitted by the candidate's supervisor to FAPESP (under analysis, process 2016/14618-4). This project also proposes the development of an application of these techniques for evaluating suppliers in a textile spinning industry, an important sector for the Brazilian economy, responsible for generating many jobs. The development of research includes four phases: a systematic review of the literature; computational modeling; application of techniques implemented and analysis of results, including comparative analysis of the techniques. The results will be analyzed for suitability for group decision, user interaction and computational complexity. Expected to reach a better understanding of the best practices of management and supplier development using mult-criteria decision techniques in group, within a chain of textile supplies, as well as opportunities for improvement.
