Abstract

This proposal aims the cooperation of Prof. Mike Hamilton (University of Toronto/Dept of Earth Sciences), Director of the Jack Satterly Geochronological Laboratory in the sampling and U-Pb baddeleyite dating of two Precambrian Mafic Dyke Swarms in the Uruguayan Shield. The study has an important bearing in the geodynamic model of the Rio de La Placa Craton in the Proterozoic which is the ocus of the on-going Thematic Project 2015/03737-0. (AU)
