Abstract

In this work will be fabricated composites using natural rubber with residue of leather, obtained in different proportions, pressure and temperature, with a chemical formulation for vulcanization of the rubber. The composites will be characterized using the techniques of thermal analyses (DSC, TG, DMA), spectroscopy Raman and FT-IR mode ATR, TG/FT-IR coupled, mechanical test (stress x strain), optical microscopy (MO), scanning electronic microscopy (MEV), atomic force microscopy (AFM), penetration of water and vapour of water in leather, elasticity and leather flexion. The obtained results of the composites will be compared in function of the physical properties of the leather wet-blue, and after the characterizations, it will be made a possible industrial and commercial application of the composites.
