Abstract

The original purpose of this research is to analyze the supply of care and integration of activities at health services for prevention and control of tuberculosis in people living with AIDS in Ribeirão Preto. This is a cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach. The population consists of people diagnosed with AIDS in treatment at reference clinics. Data collection will be conducted through interviews using a structured questionnaire comprising 39 questions, divided into three sections: I - socio-demographic data; II - general information on the cases monitoring; III - data on supply of care and integration of actions and health care. Respondents will answer each question according to a range of responses as dichotomous, multiple choice single answer and Likert scale, for each one will be assigned a value between "zero" and "five", where the more favorable response will receive the most value top of the scale and the most unfavorable receive the lowest. Data analysis will be conducted through the construction of indicators, based on the variables selected for the study. The indicator set will correspond to the mean value obtained by the sum of all responses of all respondents to each question and divided by the total respondents. A total indicator will be determined for the general analysis of these dimensions, using the average of responses to all questions pertaining to each dimension of the study. For values close to 1 and 2 will be the classification of supply as non-satisfactory, around 3, regular and around 4 to 5 satisfactory. (AU)
