Abstract

The project connect initiatives, researchers and areas around the debate about narrative representation of war, specially through media coverage for war correspondents. One of the innovations is, in addition with the academic reflection, the debate will be made through other forms as audiovisual products. The proposition is to write and publish academic papers, interviews with war correspondents, to organize a book and to make a documentary about war coverage.An interdisciplinary way for this project puts together Literature, Journalism, Communication, Arts, Antropology and History to study media, narrative, war, Midle East, international press and Brazil, resulting in academic reflection, debate and the construction of dense analysis with researchers insisde Universidade de São Paulo and partnerships with Universidade Federal Fluminense (RJ) and Universidade do Algarve (Portugal).
