Abstract

In this research we will work the three paradigms of musical creation defined by François Delalande: the paradigm of orality, the paradigm of the writing and the paradigm of the electroacoustic. Primarily we aim to define the relationships between the different means of music production and the compositional particularities that are developed in the same means. By this we understand a compositional context as the place of a number of heterogeneous devices, that constitute dynamics and interconnected relationships. We also propose an analytical stage which will detail the different forms of exploration of each one of these means of creation, specifically in works composed from the second half of the twentieth century. In this context, another important aspect which we will emphasize is the appearance of lines of contamination between the different paradigms.Besides the analytical and theoretical axis, we also propose a compositional practice experience that will allow us the complementation of the questions worked; thus configuring the two main axis that form this research: the theoretical investigation and the compositional practice.
