Abstract

The rainfall, combined with the absence of vegetation cover and within the use of conservation practices, soil management, potentiate the action of erosion. In rural areas, the soil loss by erosion affects agricultural activities, mainly by lowering fertility. Also cause urban problems such as gully and on unpaved roads, vacant lots and lots new; technogenic deposit formation, impaired capacity to generate hydropower and urban water supply. Thus, it is imperative to understand these dynamics and the factors associated with implementation of erosion tables, especially the rainfall erosivity, R Factor Equation Universal Soil Loss by Erosion (USLE). Also, are also calculated the payback period, the frequency of occurrence of erosivity indices and annual maximum daily rainfall necessary for the design of more appropriate channels for agricultural level terraces. Get this factor is an important contribution to predict whether potential erosive rainfall predominates at any given area. Thus, in this project is intended to determine the rainfall erosivity, Unit of Water Resources Management in the Middle Paranapanema obtained from the index, based on data from the National Agency (ANA).
