Abstract

Population aging is a reality to which health professionals need to be prepared. The functionality is closely related to cognitive and daily exercise of the mind helps to prevent decline cognitivo5. Objectives: To identify individuals with cognitive complaints and cognitive impairment with no dementia, from hearing instruments in the area and experimental design interventions for health promotion and improvement of functioning, prevention and maintenance of cognitive abilities - to be employed people in the process aging. Method: will be held audiological evaluation, auditory processing evaluation (location of sound sources in five directions, dichotic digits and pattern of frequency), behavioral tests, electrophysiological test to write the complex N1-P2-N2; phoniatrics will targeting the Formal Hearing Therapy (TAF).
