Abstract

This project aims to introduce the student to study possible ways of upgrading the structure of the road system with more sustainability. Various difficulties are presented in the urban environment, regarding urban mobility and accessibility. Thus, it is necessary to study of alternatives to minimize impacts caused by the current transportation system - which is already collapsing, on the built environment, and the social inequalities, no longer seems to be something so far from a real implementation. It would be desirable, in the near future, that the growth of cities only occurred as planned, and in integrated with its restructuring. In this context, sustainability and restoration of areas with potential to improve quality of life figure as major themes of this project. The proposal aims to study the relationship between adoption of transportation bike way, restoration of lowland connected to linear parks, as far as possible in the inner city as a way of mitigation of impacts on the built environment.
