Abstract

The migration is considered one of the largest current challenges of the Amazonian, for being associated historically to a complex social dynamics and environmental particularities in her instituted. In function of the impacts of that dynamics on the native population and the environment, the maranhense migration for Boa Vista, capital of the State of Roraima, is related to the economical and social consequences wider, that in a priority order, it puts the public health as fundamental in the scale of the concerns of the area. In this context, Boa Vista stands out for being a city with wide possibilities of verifying as the imaginary traditional, brought by maranhenses migrants that constitute more of the half of the population of the State, is redefined to generate specific forms of as such individuals give solution to the illnesses and afflictions of the body , for the construction of therapeutic itineraries and the use of resources social magics starting from a repertoire on health and disease socially built.
